About East Malvern Community Bank Branch
East Malvern Community Bank® Branch opened on the 5th of May 2000, at our beloved 300 Waverley Rd address in the heart of East Malvern near the famous Number 3 Tram terminus.
Our charter remains the same to this day: to return up to 80% of our profits to the community by way of grants and sponsorships.
Thanks to outstanding community support, we have been very successful in continuing to deliver on our charter. Through community sponsorships, grants and dividends, we have invested over $4.5 million dollars back into the local community, via more than 120 community groups. We rely on the support of our customers to make our charter a reality, as we strive to increase that investment.
East Malvern Community Bank® Branch, however, is at its core, a business. Like all businesses, we need to continually achieve new business to maintain our profitability, and continue to provide community support.
We work hand in hand with our customers to enable impactful support across our local communities. Be it helping to get a small business get off the ground, or the delicate time of buying a first home, whatever their stage of life, we are there for them. Both we and our customers know that they are contributing to the greater good for their community, as we in turn invest in local sporting clubs, schools, the arts, charitable causes, giving young people a helping hand through our scholarship program, and more. Our board and branch team care about the things that really matter and we back that up with action with our community sponsorships, grants and donations.
Trust has never been valued more deeply than in this day and age, and all branches of Bendigo Bank are proud to have been voted the third most trusted brand in Australia* and the most trusted bank in Australia*.
At East Malvern Community Bank® Branch, we live breathe our ambition of helping our communities thrive every day, and measure our success on achieving that. Drop in and see our Branch Manager Ruth Hall and her team, to see how we can support your community together.
